At Kili Technology, we've always recognized that innovation doesn't happen in isolation. That's why we're thrilled to support Geoawesome's new digital event series on AI and Geospatial technology.

This five-part series offers a valuable opportunity for our community to explore how AI is reshaping the geospatial landscape.

Starting September 8th, 2025, Geoawesome is hosting a series of one-hour digital events that bring together experts to discuss key topics in geospatial AI. Each session includes a presentation followed by Q&A, with breakout rooms for networking and continued discussion.

Why This Matters Now

The geospatial community is experiencing a period of rapid change. New AI models are emerging regularly, and both machine learning engineers and GIS professionals are experimenting with applications that weren't possible just a year ago.

This event series provides a structured way to understand these developments, from their advancements, benefits, challenges, and caveats. Rather than trying to keep up with the constant stream of announcements and papers, participants can learn directly from experts who are working with these technologies daily.

The series covers five important areas:

• AI & Geospatial in the Financial Sector: Understanding AI's impact on corporate reporting, ESG, and investment decisions (September 8th, 2025)
• Foundational Models: Exploring the new building blocks for GeoAI applications
• Integrity, Trust, and Provenance: Ensuring reliability and ethics in AI-driven geospatial data
• Collaboration & GeoAI for Good: Leveraging GeoAI for humanitarian and environmental applications
• State of the Industry: Examining key trends and future directions

The first event on AI & Geospatial in the Financial Sector takes place on September 8th, 2025. Each session runs for one hour and includes time for questions and networking.
